بازدهی به مقیاس و پیشرفت فنی زیربخش‌های صنعت ایران: کاربردی از مدل دایورت- فاکس

چکیده

هدف این مطالعه بررسی و مقایسه وضعیت بازدهی به مقیاس و پیشرفت فنی در زیربخش­های صنعت ایران است. بنابراین، از مدل دایورت- فاکس و شاخص تورنکوییست و داده­های 23 بخش تولیدی طی سالهای 1376-1389 استفاده شده است.  نتایج نشان می‌دهد که اغلب بخش‌های مورد نظر بازده فزاینده به مقیاس دارند و بر این اساس همچنان ظرفیت ارتقای کارایی در اغلب صنایع وجود دارد. همچنین بیشتر این بخش‌ها دارای پیشرفت فنی معنی­داری هستند که به این موضوع دلالت دارد که رشد بخش صنعتی طی سال‌های اخیر علاوه بر بازده فزاینده به مقیاس تحت تاثیر پیشرفت فنی بوده است.

چکیده [English]

It is the purpose of this paper to evaluate and compare the return to scale and technical change of manufacturing sector subsections of Iran. Therefore, Diewert-Fox model and Törnqvist index and the data of 23 selected manufacturing industrial sectors during 1997-2010 are used. The results show that most of the selected sectors have increasing returns to scale and based on these results, there is potential of efficiency improvements in manufacturing industries. Furthermore, most of these industries experience significant technical change which implies that the growth of manufacturing industries has been driven by both increasing returns to scale and technical progress.
